Equinox Physiotherapy Partnership Ltd offers a comprehensive skill base within its team of specialist neuro -physiotherapists and rehabilitation coaches. All our therapists are members of HCPC and/or the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and all regularly undertake post graduate courses as part of their skill enhancement and ongoing professional development.

Beth

Bethan Drinkall
M.C.S.P. Director and Co Founder of Equinox Physiotherapy Partnership Ltd

Bethan has worked in the field of neurology for over 28 years including both adult and paediatric services. She has a special interest in traumatic brain injury and chairs the Carmarthenshire branch of Headway. Bethan is also passionate about enabling the less able to enjoy a full spectrum of sports, and is the chair of the the adaptive skiing charity, Ski4All Wales.

In addition to her medico legal and private case load she has an honorary contract within the NHS specializing in spasticity management and botulinium toxin injection therapy.

Michael Douglas
M.C.S.P. Director and Co Founder of Equinox Physiotherapy Partnership Ltd

Doug has been qualified for 28 years as a physiotherapist after an initial nurse training and worked in Leeds and the Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry. He has worked in the field of orthopaedics and trauma and in the last 15 years specialized in traumatic brain injury and neuro-rehabilitation.

Apart from his medico legal and private case load he has an honorary contract within the NHS specializing in spasticity management and botulinium toxin injection therapy. He is also a trained acupuncturist.

Janine Baard
M.C.S.P. Chartered Physiotherapist

Janine qualified in physiotherapy in Cape Town University South Africa in 2002. She has been working in the UK since 2003 and has specialized in neuro- rehabilitation and specifically in paediatric neurology. She is our clinical lead in SDR rehabilitation supporting children and families who have undergone SDR surgery in USA and returned home.

Joanne Inkin
M.C.S.P. Chartered Physiotherapist

 

Joanne graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff in 1997 as a Chartered Physiotherapist. Post graduation she worked in West wales general hospital where she developed a passion for neurological rehabilitation. She has worked in the independent sector for 16 years initially in adult neurological services and more recently in paediatric services. She employs a multidisciplinary hands on approach and has a keen interest in cerebral palsy and adaptive skiing.

Chris Conners
M.C.S.P. Chartered Physiotherapist

Chris is Cardiff through and through. Born and schooled in Cardiff he completed a Masters in Physics before completing a fast track course in Physiotherapy at Cardiff University. He specializes in Ergonomics and Occupational Health in addition to his Neurological and Sports Medicine caseloads.

Administrator

Liz has been working with Equinox Physiotherapy Partnership Ltd for the last seven years and has provided us with an efficient office and administrative base to work from. With background in banking she is able keep a firm grip on the business going forward.

Adam Sanchez
Rehabilitation Coach

 Adam carried out his dissertation for his degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Glamorgan University on cardiac rehabilitation and continues that interest in rehabilitation with Equinox focussing on levels of recovery through a range of clinical need. His interests in rugby, boxing and conditioning provide an interesting motivation take on recovery from illness and he is well placed to get the best out of sports people on the mend. Adam is equally at home in the clinic as he is on the rugby field or gym and he brings out the best in people.

Mia

Mia Martin
Rehabilitation Coach

Mia has completed under grad and post grad degrees in sport and exercise science. Both degrees focused heavily upon the research and testing biomechanics of lower limb injury. She has recently become a Ski4all Instructor and is assisting others in competing in adaptive triathlon. Mia has also recently completed her training in Pilates, Neuro Pilates and Hydrotherapy. She plays a tidy game of soccer too.
